Brief: The modern chapel made of waterproof paper was originally built by the survivors of the 1995 Kobe earthquake. After the 921 earthquake, Taomi, under the cross-industry cooperation of the government, academia, society, community residents and non-profit organizations, started from the abundant landscape of the homeland, followed the strategy of education and learning—concept change—action and practice, toward the vision of an eco-village.
